I was very satisfied with the quality of the report received. I found it to be in depth, open, honest and that the evidence was well triangulated. It was sensitive whilst also being risk focussed and that has in my view led to the mother having greater insight into the worries around her parenting.
Despite there being a negative outcome of the assessment, the mum has not challenged this. I think that there has been a good level of understanding throughout about the worries Charley raised around the mother’s parenting, and feedback at points throughout helped this.
